I love my cloth diapers. They are so cute, soft and save me money. So when the elastics stretched, after using them for 2 two years, I was pretty 'bummed'. Repairing them took a long time, but it wasn't that hard.
- Not every side needed repairs, but I decided to redo them all anyways.
- Turn the diapers inside out and find the elastic sticking out.
- Use a seam ripper to remove the old elastic.
- Find a large enough needle and put the elastic through it.
- Thread the elastic through the diaper. I doubled up the elastic to make it stronger.
- Sew one side, pull the elastic tighter and sew the other side.
